    • { Well folks it is great to hear you all are putting the reunion together again I hope some of the old timers can make it back. I spent the first years of my life there 1940-1966 and then some. I used to wait with Big Henry Nork at the station in front of the casino for the Wilkes Barre Record. I helped Henry drain the water in the summer homes for the winter .Back in the forties there were only about five families who lived all year round in the Summit. See you all in July God willing. } – Apr 29, 2:29 PM
    • { I grew up in Mt.Top, in my father's Glen Summit Floral Co. and with Frank Hourigan, in Fairview School, and we have be devoted friends for 65 years. He was the ambassador of good will in our youth, exploring the many treasures of Glen Summit: fishing, hunting, swimming, ice skating, sledding, and riding horses. I plan to be Frank and Anne's guests for the reunion, and some my remember me, I haven't changed much, just turned 70. Best wishes for a successful reunion. } – Apr 28, 11:37 AM
    • { Won't be at reunion, since Jane is calling me to far off waters on Water Dawg. } – Apr 16, 2:16 PM
    • { Alberto & I are looking forward to our first reunion as Glen Summiters! You can count on two of us for the weekend! } – Apr 15, 11:01 AM
    • { Martha and I plan to attend. I expect to spend much of June and most of July traveling in South America, Asia, China and Oceana in order to reorganize my distribution network. The only fly in the ointment is the somewhat absurd hope that United Airlines will actually return me from Melbourne to the US on July 24th. } – Apr 08, 11:14 AM
    • { We had a private Roscoe Sister's pajama party recently. Even Peggy flew in from Florida!! We talked and laughed till we were hoarse.Nora lost her voice! We finally got a word in. Ha.! Hopefully, all three of us will make the reunion. Looking forward to it. Jeanne } – Apr 04, 11:30 AM
    • { GREAT NEWS FROM GLEN SUMMIT Dear Glen Summiters, The Glen Summit Reunion Committee met to review responses to our postcard and online survey. We are delighted to report that there has been an enthusiastic and resounding response from all parts of the country. As of 16 March there are some 90 definite commitments to attend the reunion, and scores of responses indicating the intention to attend. We believe we are on track to equal the attendance of some 200 people who showed up for the 2006 reunion; with your help, this will be our goal!! Several people have asked for some information about the events which are planned for the weekend of the reunion. Although it is too early to have plans finalized, we will in a few days post on this website a tentative schedule of events, based primarily on those which were successful in 2006. We would appreciate your careful review of this tentative program, hoping that you will contribute some ideas or suggestions that can make it even more appealing. Please send your suggestions to Bonnie or to me, or for that matter to any member of our committee. We shall appreciate hearing from you. John Magagna For the Committee } – Mar 20, 11:15 AM

    • { Hi Everyone. As many of you know I am living and working in the Savannah, GA area. I'll be in Glen Summit for the Fourth of July week and using several vacation days then. Always needing to save vacation time for the Christmas season, I probably won't be coming up for the Reunion. I'm sure it will be a memorable event, as always. } – Mar 18, 7:27 AM

    • { 'Inclined not to attend' … is not quite the right description of circumstance. I would like to attend, but re-settling after moving might still be a chaotic work in progress. Family 'attending a sailing school' cannot be contacted this wk to ask - will let you know later. } – Mar 16, 9:18 AM

    • { We look forward to seeing friends from our shared youth. Carol, I liked Crystal Lake for skinny dipping We look froward to seeing friends from our shared youth. Glen Summit is one of the few places that really does not change to any great extent. Just the people change and new names are added to the list of those who love the Summit. I hope we have a record turn out. Thanks for all your effort to bring us togather. } – Mar 15, 5:36 PM
    • { ooohhhhh.. forgot to ask.. does this mean we have to go skinny dipping at the lake after the Saturday dinner? and what else is on the agenda? } – Mar 14, 10:13 PM
    • { Since I missed the last one and heard how much fun it was, I wouldn't dream of making the same mistake again. I'll definitely be there and am looking forward to reminiscing with you all. (Noooo, I don't mean y'all. I'm in Florida not Alabama 😉 } – Mar 14, 10:09 PM

    • { Looking forward to a nice , warm weekend at the reunion. } – Mar 14, 6:45 PM
    • { Indeed, the last reunion was a fine time. We will do our best to come this time (four people total). Elle and I moved three years ago from San Francisco to Philadelphia where we now live in the Watermark, a retirement community near Logan Square just north west of city hall. We are about a mile from our daughter Becky's and Mike's, her husband's, home. They live up a short distance behind the Philadelphia Art Museum. Best wishes to all, Carleton (AKA Dinny) } – Mar 14, 5:08 PM
    • { We checked 'inclined to attend' until we know it's definitely on. Hate to make those plane reservations and then not go! Can't wait to return to those 'thrilling days of yesteryear' and reconnect with so many from the 50's and 60's who lived there. } – Mar 12, 9:14 PM
    • { I really hope I can make it to the reunion - especially after reading all those comments. Like Bow I remember being there in the summer of '45 when the siren at the tennis house went to celebrate the end of WWII - and riding around in the back of a pick-up, banging pots and pans in celebration! Hope to see you all there! } – Mar 10, 3:02 PM
    • { Can't wait to see all of you. It is so much fun going back to the good old days. I will be there. Helen } – Mar 09, 12:12 PM
    • { Sorry we can't make this year's reunion, we loved the last one! } – Mar 09, 7:39 AM
    • { We'll stay tuned, John. Arthur and I will be there, 'God willin' and the creek don't rise,' as you are so fond of saying, and we're hoping that my sister Nancy will come from California to join us. Looking forward to seeing you and lots of other old friends and meeting new ones. } – Feb 23, 6:32 PM

    • { When I read my brother Bow McLean's note about being in Glen Summit in '45, I decided we are very lucky to still be able to travel, so I too will be there for the GS reunion--The last one was great and I'm looking forward to seeing old and new faces again ! The good news is that I, like John Magagna, can still remember the long, lazy and fun days of summer-at the lake,on the tennis courts, the summer dances and doing stuff only Henry Nork (the caretaker) knew about!! See you there, Molly } – Feb 05, 6:20 PM
